Così lontano, così vicino / editorial project / 2013

Re-contestualization of a masterpiece by Mimmo Castellano, photographer and graphic designer, titled "Paese Lucano". We had the luck to meet him personally, and to have his original pictures available to re-edit his photo book. Our aim was to combine his pictures with quotes and old prints regarding Southern Italy, so that, all together, they made up a sort of encyclopedian work. Group work with Veronica Maccari, Martina Micheli and Valentina Rocchetti.

“This operation would have given new life to those object lying in farmers' houses, and to those incredible landscapes which I discovered as treasures, and that I greedily stored in my pictures”

– Mimmo Castellano about Paese Lucano

gatto nero / research booklet and posters / 2013

A series of posters which points out particular aspects of the life of graphic design students and a self-bound booklet to introduce them. With a little irony, and a good background research on italian anarchic propaganda, this is the result.

“Less grids, more grills”

curly / school project / 2011

We have been asked to create a catalogue for an anonymous design abject. Me and Adelaide Imperato have chosen a swiss potato peeler, and developed a whole context around it. Thanks to Giorgio Fanecco for helping us.

“The place I like best in this world is the kitchen. No matter where it is, no matter what kind, if it’s a kitchen, if it’s a place where they make food, it’s fine with me”

– Banana Yoshimoto, Kitchen
